xBASE: Bugfixes
01 Oct 2007Several bug fixes have been made to the site this morning:
- the pattern searcher will search all sequences (i.e. plasmids, contigs) in a genome, rather than just the first one
- the protein BLAST databases now include predicted protein products even when there is no "translation" annotation in the original GenBank file. Also, split locations are handled correctly.
Thank you for all your feedback. The features on the road-map to be implemented next are as follows;
- return of the ortholog prediction function
- pre-caching of pairwise genome alignments to speed up the alignment view
- return of the SwissProt link
- return of the links to E. coli specific resources, e.g. EcoCYC
- single and multi-organism BLAST
Stay tuned for updates!
